COVID-19 Rapid Response Grants

In response to the current and ongoing public health crisis posed by novel coronavirus and COVID-19, Diverse City Fund is committing at least $100,000 to organizations who are engaging with vulnerable communities during this critical time.

Who is eligible*? Any current and past Diverse City Fund grantees from any year. See a full list of grantees here.

*Receiving a rapid response grant has no effect on an organization’s eligibility for the regular spring or fall grant rounds.

What are we funding? Any programmatic work that has emerged, evolved, or escalated as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes racial/social justice, organizing, and community work in addition to any emergent direct service needs.

How big are the grants? Organizations can apply for up to $5,000 in emergency grant funding.

How does the application process work? Groups or organizations that are eligible, should apply using the link below. Requests will be reviewed on an ongoing basis. You should hear updates on your request within two weeks of submission. You may be asked to schedule a phone call with our team to follow-up on your request.
