We had many organizations apply to us this year. Some wanted to increase outreach to at-risk minors, to provide education to those wanting a new skill, or just to be a resource when other doors seem to close.
But regardless of the project, they all were for great change to promote justice and opportunity.
And for grantees like Common Good City Farm, change did happen. When LeDroit Park residents asked Common Good City Farm for help in starting their own community gardens, Diverse City Fund was able to award them a grant.
Instead of residents having to figure out how to purchase produce, now they proudly grow their own.
This success story – and so many others – would not be possible without your support.
Help ensure that we can still make great change possible in 2013 by making a year-end gift today. Thank you for your partnership.
